Challenges

  • Beacham and Company needed everything from Corporate Identity including logo design to colatteral printing, business card and yard sign design.
  • Moving into new office space, Beacham needed complete office automation from computer workstation, laptop, network printing, file servers and office equipment recomendations and acquisition to network design, cabling, Plasma TV kiosks and phone system.
  • Beacham and Company needed Microsoft Exchange and mobile cababilities for calendaring.
  • Real estate web sites are competitive and established. Beacham wanted to have the best real estate site on the web in regards to presentation and technology and innovation.
  • Beacham and Company focuses on high-end exclusive real estate and the site and brand needed to relect that.
  • Content management and site administration would be utilized by multiple users within Beacham and Company.
  • Each agent would need capability to customize their pages with everything from background images to agent-specific content.
  • Searching for homes needed to be inovative and employ the latest technology for speed and inovation.
  • End users would need to save searches, favorite properties, scheduling viewings and select and communicate with agents


Solution

  • Glick underwent multiple, in-depth planning sessions with Beacham and Company to fully understand the brand and goals, brainstorm strategies and create the measurable objectives of the project
  • Glick delievered a corporate identity to match the brand Beacham and Company was trying to project.
  • Since Beacham and Company did not have an interal IT department, Glick determined the best computer hardware workstations, laptops, network printers, copiers, fax machines, servers and backup scheme.
  • Glick reviewed top real estate sites and new web 2.0 real estate sites from around the country to determine the best way to implement new technology and innovation.
  • Glick managed all office automation, LAN network design, Exchange implementation, cabling and power requirements, collateral printing, and VOIP phone system installation
  • Glick worked closely with Beacham and Company to deploy a content management solution that improves the consistency of the site look and feel and make content additions simple and painless
  • Glick and development partner Axelerant designed and deployed a web server farm and SAN system and automated process for acquiring FMLS data daily in a solution that will respond to increasing site traffic, user demands, and content delivery needs
